A. Deposit
The deposit is located in an alluvial fan deposit on the north flank of the Newberry Mountains, and extends for approximately two miles adjacent to Interstate 40.
The deposit is comprised of approximately 35% gravel and 65% sand with a maximum size of 6 - 8".
B. Petrographics
This aggregate is made up of andesite, granite and small percentage of feldspar.
C. Production Capabilities
The Barstow plant has the ability to produce 450 tons/hour of finished product.
A breakdown of the finished product is as follows:
1. Sand Products 100 - 150 tons/hour
2. Gravel Products 100 - 150 tons/hour
3. Crushed Products 100 - 150 tons/hour
4. Base Products (Blend of Crushed Rock) 300 - 350 tons/hour

A. Deposit
The deposit is located in an alluvial fan adjacent to the Littlerock Wash. It is comprised of 40% rock and 60% sand with a maximum size of 12" to 15".
B. Petrographics
This aggregate is made up of granite, feldspathic gneiss and schists, gabbroic rock and mafic volcanic rock.
C. Production Capabilities
The Palmdale plant , built by U.S. Machinery in 1989, is capable of 550 tons per hour of finished product. A breakdown of the finished product is as follows:
1. Sand Products 150 - 200 tons/hour
2. Gravel Products 100 - 125 tons/hour
3. Crushed Products 75 - 100 tons/hour
4. Base Products 0 - 200 tons/hour
